Alberta Avenue is a neighborhood located in central area of Edmonton, Alberta. The neighborhood is bounded by 118th Avenue to the north, 97th Street to the west, 112th Ave to the south, and 89 street to the east. The area was annexed by Edmonton in 1910, and development of the neighborhood began in 1912. Alberta Avenue was originally an agricultural area, and many of the early homes were built by farmers who moved into the area from central Canada.

Alberta Avenue is a neighborhood that has a rich history and diverse culture. The avenue was once known as "The Great North Road" because it was the only road north of Edmonton. The avenue is now home to a variety of businesses, including restaurants, art galleries, and shops.
